Why is Your Network Marketing Business Stalled?

If you or someone you know are in Network Marketing and your business is moving along at a snail’s pace, you have probably asked yourself this question more than once.  Could it be that the stall has more to do with who you talk to and less to do with you?

Let me explain.   Everett Roger’s notes that some people or the late majority, are just naturally skeptical and feel that the “truth of all knowledge must always be questioned.”

If new distributors are going to their so-called friends and family and they are skeptical, what chance does their business have?  A friend is someone who would want what is best for you and who would support you in a new endeavor.  This doesn’t mean they will automatically join your business or buy your product.  But they might lend support by providing a referral to someone who might be interested.

It is almost impossible to market to this late majority group of skeptics who typically have no money to spend anyway.  If you have friends or family who fall in the classification of laggards, keep in mind that they are traditionalists and more than likely will not be moved to even take a look at your product or opportunity.  These are the type of people who would have denied a miracle even if they saw a man walking towards them on top of the water.

So how is a new distributor or associate to launch their business without going to these two groups?  There is a pathway to success in network marketing but it depends on who you talk to.  Come back for a visit to find out who you must talk to for success.

How I Found The L-Shield

Welcome back to my Blog.  On my last post I said I would be telling you about the L-Shield, well here goes.  I found out about the L-Shield or Legal Shield quite by accident five years ago.  A friend invited my wife and me to a BBQ at his house to check something out.  From the get go I was turned off and told him I had no interest in getting involved in some kind of biz opportunity.  However, my friend knows how to throw a party and I knew the food would be off the hook, so I checked it out and was pleasantly surprised.  For chump change ($.87 a day) I got 24 hour access to a lawyer for emergencies, and access to a law firm in my home state of California and in all 50 states and 4 provinces of Canada if I happened to be travelling.

For the first time in my life I could pull out a card, call a lawyer for advice and in emergencies 24 hours a day and 365 even on holidays I could get a lawyer on the phone.  Having 2 grown sons, one in college out of state I knew how easily they could be in the wrong place at the wrong time, so I hooked them up too.  I used to say I was going to call my attorney when I knew I didn’t have one.  Now I could say that and NOT be lying~

You might rationalize that you don’t get in trouble, have never used an attorney so why do you need one.   I felt the same way until I really picked this L-Shield apart and what I discovered was surprising.  I realized just how many times I could have used a lawyer when I was stopped for speeding, failing to stop, DUI or DWB (driving while black).

I also started to notice times when other people could have used the services of a lawyer and the L-Shield.  Regardless what side of the table you’re on regarding illegal immigrants, the L-Shield can protect your rights, an attorney can help you get legal status if you are here illegally and if you like to just take off on the open road and explore like we do, the L-Shield can give you some piece of mind that your rights will be protected no matter where you are and what time of day.  It’s not going to protect bad people doing bad things, but will protect good people who might just get caught up in some unfortunate circumstances.  Until next time.

Welcome to My Blog

Hey guys and welcome to my Blog.  Hope you checked out my YouTube video on the L-Shield where I talked about Malcolm Gladwell’s “The Tipping Point”. Well, the reason I brought the L-Shield and “The Tipping Point” together is because of the concept of how Innovation and new products move through the marketplace and how average individuals can judge for themselves how products and ideas will move.

“The Tipping Point” talks about the Diffusion Model which piggy backs off of a theory by Everett M. Roger.  Simply put, Diffusion is the process by which a new idea or product is accepted by the market and the rate of diffusion is how fast a new idea spreads from one consumer to the next.

Whenever a product is adopted, it goes through five categories of people:

v     INNOVATORS:  adventurous visionaries

v     EARLY ADOPTERS:  opinion & social leaders in the community

v     EARLY MAJORITY:  deliberate pragmatists with many informal social contacts

v     LATE MAJORITY:   skeptical masses, lower socio-economic status

v     LAGGARDS:  traditional, constantly struggling, no urgent reason to change

So how does this relate to the L-Shield and moving it through the market?  Innovators have already designed the L-Shield and put it into place.  The company behind the L-Shield has been in business for 37 years, is traded on the NYSE and endorsed by former State Attorneys General, the President of the National Chamber of Commerce and the President of the African American Chamber of Commerce.  If these guys aren’t part of the Early Majority I don’t know who is.

So what about everybody else?  Well, there is something known as a chasm or a divide between the launch of a new idea or product and when it catches on.  Over the next few days, I’ll be talking about why some people catch on to a new product and why others don’t.  We’ll also look at what the consequences might be if someone is a die-hard skeptic or laggard when it comes to embracing a new product and exactly what the L-Shield is and why you should never leave home without it.
