If you or someone you know are in Network Marketing and your business is moving along at a snail’s pace, you have probably asked yourself this question more than once. Could it be that the stall has more to do with who you talk to and less to do with you?
Let me explain. Everett Roger’s notes that some people or the late majority, are just naturally skeptical and feel that the “truth of all knowledge must always be questioned.”
If new distributors are going to their so-called friends and family and they are skeptical, what chance does their business have? A friend is someone who would want what is best for you and who would support you in a new endeavor. This doesn’t mean they will automatically join your business or buy your product. But they might lend support by providing a referral to someone who might be interested.
It is almost impossible to market to this late majority group of skeptics who typically have no money to spend anyway. If you have friends or family who fall in the classification of laggards, keep in mind that they are traditionalists and more than likely will not be moved to even take a look at your product or opportunity. These are the type of people who would have denied a miracle even if they saw a man walking towards them on top of the water.
So how is a new distributor or associate to launch their business without going to these two groups? There is a pathway to success in network marketing but it depends on who you talk to. Come back for a visit to find out who you must talk to for success.
